Technical Artist, Pipeline

Bridge art production and engineering by improving asset preparation, validation, and runtime-ready workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • define asset preparation rules for textures, sprites, animations, layouts, and effects;
  • build or specify validation checks that catch production issues before runtime;
  • support artists with practical tooling, documentation, and pipeline troubleshooting;
  • work with engineers on import formats, previews, caching, and staged loading.

Requirements:

  • experience in game art pipelines, technical art, or production tooling;
  • understanding of texture formats, atlases, animation assets, and runtime constraints;
  • ability to communicate clearly with artists, designers, and engineers;
  • practical mindset for turning repeated manual work into reliable workflows.

Nice to have:

  • scripting experience with JavaScript, Python, or DCC automation;
  • experience with web-based tools, asset validators, or build pipelines;
  • interest in browser runtime performance and production diagnostics.
